Robert Cumming is chairman of Christie's Education, London. He joined Christie's in 1978 to launch its first art history course for undergraduate and postgraduate students; today Christie's runs a wide variety of courses at all levels in London, Scotland, and New York. Robert Cumming studies law and art history at Cambridge University, and prior to joining Christie's he worked in the education department of the Tate Gallery. His books have won several international awards and include Just Look, Just Imagine, and Looking into Paintings.
